DiscoverCraftsmanship
No two Meridian movements are identical. The hand-finishing applied to each bridge, each screw, each escapement wheel creates a unique grain — a fingerprint in steel.
Each movement bridge receives the Côtes de Genève finishing by hand — 27 concentric arcs per surface, completed with a burnisher and magnification. A Geneva watch without this pattern is, in our view, incomplete.
Every bevel is angled at precisely 45 degrees and polished to a mirror finish using traditional lapidary techniques. We do not sandblast. We do not bead-blast. What you see is what remains after hours of patient abrasion by hand.
Our screws are heated over a flame until they reach exactly 300°C — the precise temperature at which steel oxidizes to a deep, permanent blue. The color does not fade. It develops.
Every completed timepiece is tested for five consecutive days across three positions and two temperatures. Only when deviation remains within −2/+1 seconds per day does it receive the Meridian seal.
The Atelier
Each Meridian timepiece requires eighteen months from first cut to final inspection. We ask for that patience because we do not compromise on the process. To begin your commission, please contact our atelier.
